And so, I am finally giving an update. Work is blah, but I haven't been there for a week, because I finally got my VACATION!!! Whooo! As far as work goes though, it looks like a couple of my favorite people are trying to either transfer out of the deli, or transfer stores. I'm bummed, but hopefully it'll make them happier people. I have to go back to work tomorrow after a week-long absence, and as much as I missed my co-workers, I'm a little bummed to have to go back to work.
So for our vacation I dragged Travis & the kids out to Utah to meet my extended family. The first couple of days were honestly a little bit stressful, but after we'd all had some time to relax and get the hang of things, it went pretty smoothly. Travis and the kids got along pretty well with my family, and we kept busy. We went on a hike to a cave, we went bowling, and to a water park, we played games at a park, listened to an awesome group of singers, went to a parade, went to dinner @ my sister's house, shopped, and even saw a couple of dollar movies. All of this and we only used 3 1/4 tanks of gas, including getting there and getting back! Not too shabby, especially since we were staying a half an hour to an hour away from everywhere we were going (oops). It was way nice to see the fam, and I met my second cousin's wife, and my other second cousin's fiance.
There has been lots of little dramas, but things seem to be ok for the moment (knock on wood). I won't post details, because that's personal and unclassy, but life is pretty good overall. We finally got Internet (although for some reason we can only get wireless Internet on our wii, even after over an hour of help from their help line). We'll get that figured out soon. In the mean time, I can deal with plugging in. We're also getting Dylan enrolled in school out here in Johnstown (ok, well, Milliken, but it's a five min. drive), which is good. I'm gonna try to post a few pictures, but I don't want to overload. Well, I'll try not to anyway. :) Much love to anyone who reads, which is probably less than one person. All well.

I can't believe it's been so long! Sorry about that, but I'm pretty sure only two people follow my blog, and only three people have ever read it. Despite all of that, it's about time I posted something, so here goes.
I moved to Johnstown with Travis almost two months ago. About two weeks ago, Dylan's mom moved back to Longmont. So now we only have the kids every other day and every other weekend. I miss being able to spend time with them, but it's ok. It's nice having time alone with Travis too.
I recently had a bad outbreak with my skin. I have excima, and a week and a half ago it got worse than it's ever been. So I finally went to a dermatologist. She gave me a medicated lotion that worked like a charm! So my skin looks and feels better than it has in over a year.
Not much else to report. Still working all the time and not much else. Hopefully I will get better at this blogging thing.

Travis' Dad comes to town
So this past week has been a busy one! Travis' dad came to visit from Texas. It was my first time meeting him (although I've FB stalked him a little). Overall, it was a lot of fun. We went out to dinner and played at the park. So here's a few pics...

Everyone's once-upon-a-time starts somewhere...

| Travis & his kids |
On Friday I went to Longmont's version of Octoberfest with Travis and the kids. We had a good time, but everything was really expensive, so we spent most of the evening listening to the bands, playing Uno, and eating pizza. After they went home, I got to go to Skyline High School's homecoming football game. My youngest sister, Paige (15), is a cheerleader. She did such a good job! I can't beleive she's so old already! She's super cute, and has a friendly, relaxed, and "cool dork," sort of vibe. Suprisingly enough, Skyline won the football game. That never happens. They won by a lot, too (not that I watched the game at all).
It was a long week. I worked my least favorite shift almost my entire week, but my weekend is finally here! My contacts were also being a bother, so I've gone through about $20 worth of new contacts in the past week. Boo! Hopefully all is well there now. I plan on getting new glasses soon so as to avoid any more huge eye issues.
I'm starting to realize how expensive life is. I just got a new-to-me car that I took out a loan for, so that's one bill. Phone, gym, insurance, and tanning are the rest for now. I need to cancel the tanning one and the gym one, which would give me almost an extra $100 a month (if my ex is still on the gym one). I'm just lucky my housing situation is cheap. Soon enough, I'll have housing payments too though. I'm kind of looking forward to that, given the situation. Living in a small space in someone else's home with a HUGE cage of annoying birds is not ideal. Soon enough, though, things will change for the better.

Ok, you're probably bored out of your mind by now. Hopefully the next post will be something more captivating.
